Brisbane City

Welcome to Brisbane City

Brisbane CBD is popular for chain fashion stores and luxe brands on busy Queen Street, plus the shady riverfront City Botanic Gardens. Brisbane City Hall offers historical photos in the Museum of Brisbane, and skyline views from its 1930s Clock Tower. The area is generally quiet at weekends, apart from the waterfront cocktail bars and seafood eateries around Eagle Street Pier, which draw an upmarket crowd.

With fashion and shopping, award-winning food and drink, City Sounds and an extensive calendar of events, The City has so much to explore.

Brisbane City Lifestyle

Brisbane is renowned for its lifestyle – the envy of most world cities. Boasting a subtropical climate and an average of 283 days of sunshine every year, Brisbane is defined by an energised spirit, a youthful vitality, and a vibrant love of the outdoors. This environment is ideal for fostering economic growth and nurturing creativity – our city is fast becoming a hotbed of cutting-edge cultural expression. A strong vision for the future and an easy balance between progress and sustainability deliver an everyday existence that embodies Australia’s status as one of the world’s best countries for quality of life.
